Each year the Golden Gate Bridge attracts more than 10 million visitors to take in its tremendous 746-foot tall towers, sweeping main cables, signature International Orange color and Art Deco styling. The Frommer's travel guide describes the Golden Gate Bridge as "possibly the most beautiful, certainly the most photographed, bridge in the world." When I visited this iconic sight, I knew I had to paint it. A bridge that is so magnificent and instantly recognizable posed some challenges and was a learning experience. A painting I thoroughly enjoyed painting!
